For many years, my family raised AKC English Labradors, and in 2011 we were proud to have the top bitch in the nation. After my parents retired from breeding, I went off to college but when I returned, I brought home a Saint Bernard, and that’s where my true passion began. I instantly fell in love with the breed. Saints are loyal, affectionate, and adventurous, and they quickly became part of my heart. Today, I show AKC Saint Bernards and continue breeding on a small, thoughtful scale.
This is a hobby for me alongside my professional career and degree, and I approach it with the highest level of care. My program is built on well-tempered, CHIC-level health-tested parent dogs, because I believe deeply in quality over quantity. You will never see me take shortcuts when it comes to the health or temperament of my dogs.
With years of experience behind us, my family and I are proud to carry forward a tradition of raising dogs where health, soundness, and temperament are always the top priorities.
We live on 10 acres in the Sierra Nevada foothills just below Tahoe. Your new pup gets a first hand at farm life and exposure to so many fun sights and smells. We have lots of farm animals here at Country Manor. From barn kitties, to goats, ducks, chickens, and horses!
Eleanor is a great representation of her breed. She is a stout 135 pounds and all muscle. She is not inflated in her weight because she is overweight. She is correct in structure, height, coat type, coat color, and coat markings. She is loyal to her family, your constant shadow, physically capable of long adventures, and the ultimate 'nanny' dog. Eleanor is always a favorite wherever we go.
